This Privacy Policy explains how ThiranNutpam (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) collects, uses, and protects your information. ThiranNutpam is operated by Cask Technology Solutions, a sole proprietorship registered as a micro enterprise under Udyam, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the platform:

• Account information — your mobile number, which you provide to sign in via OTP. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
• Practice and progress data — the quizzes you take, your answers, time spent per question, scores, streaks, and your saved wrong-answer notebook. This is what powers your analytics.
• Payment information — records of your purchases and subscription status. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details; these are handled entirely by our payment processor, Razorpay.
• Technical data — basic information your browser sends automatically, such as device type and general usage, used to keep the service working and secure.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to authenticate your login, deliver practice questions and explanations, generate your performance analytics, process payments and manage your subscription, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate ThiranNutpam. Your data may be processed by them strictly to deliver our service:

• MSG91 — sends the OTP for phone login.
• Google — optional sign-in.
• Razorpay — processes payments.
• Supabase — database hosting (Mumbai, India).
• Vercel and Upstash — application hosting and caching.

Each provider processes data only as needed to perform its function.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on servers located in India (Mumbai region). We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Data Retention

We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, payment records for tax and accounting purposes).

Your Rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account and associated data. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time, consistent with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Children’s Data

ThiranNutpam is designed primarily for exam aspirants who are adults. Some content covers school-level syllabus. If a user is a minor, we expect a parent or guardian to provide and manage consent for the use of the platform. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will address it.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in and to make the app function. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
